What should I do if I have vibrations?

Some vibration is normal with aggressive tires, but if you experience strong shaking or pulling, contact us for support.

Vibrations after new tire installation are common and usually resolve with a simple fix:

  • Wheel balance: The most common cause. Vibration at a specific speed (often 55-70 mph) usually means the tires need to be balanced. Return to the installer for a rebalance.
  • Tire bead seating: Occasionally a tire does not seat perfectly on the rim during mounting, causing a slight vibration that often resolves within a few hundred miles. Have the installer check if it persists.
  • Tire defect: If rebalancing does not resolve the issue, a manufacturing defect may be the cause. Contact us at 920-560-2430 and we can assist with a warranty claim.
  • Pre-existing vehicle issue: If vibration was present before the new tires, the cause may be a worn wheel bearing, strut, or other suspension component -- not the tires.
